Some days will just feel off. Some days your body will just be tired. Some days you will not want to get out of bed.
Some days you will just need to rest. And all of that is okay.
People have this unrealistic expectation in life that they will always "feel" a certain way. Once inspired they always have to be inspired or somethings wrong. Or once happy they always have to be happy or something is wrong.
The truth is, there is an ebb and flow to life, an up and a down, the key is to learn to float within it. No one is happy and inspired every day. Some times life feels lifeless. The less significant you make it the faster it passes.
If you're having a down day try the following:
**Give yourself space and permission to rest. Anything you had planned- cancel it.
**Don't make yourself wrong for it. Maybe your body is aware of something? Maybe there is a reason your body is telling you to stay home and rest. If we don't judge our body for requiring rest we get to have more space with it, allowing ourselves the maximum relaxation and we may get the information we didn't know before.
**Take lots of deep breaths. Make sure you are doing some conscious breathing. Every time you feel anxiety or wrongness comes up- BREATH.
**Expand out and stay expanded. Don't buy into the contraction of something is wrong with you because you feel down. Nothing is wrong with you. Your body just requires rest. Stop trying to "figure out" what's wrong with you. Ebb and flow.
**Stop any head noise. Don't buy into any of the wrongness. You are just resting, that is all.
You are a being with a body. Sometimes your body gets tired. Stop trying to buy into the wrongness. Rest and try again tomorrow.
